Our client, a leading organization in facilities management, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Range: $34/hr -  $42/hr

What's the Job?

Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems. Conduct inspections and report on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations. Assist with interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, repairing furniture, and installing fixtures. Support safety procedures by completing hazard assessments and maintaining a safe work environment. Drive to various locations as needed, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of relevant experience in building repair and maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical work. Valid state driver’s license (if mobile). Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work from heights, including climbing ladders up to 30 feet. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on safety and teamwork.
