Job Description
Join our team as a Facilities Technician and contribute to our commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. In this role, you will perform daily assignments related to mechanical and facilities operations, ensuring that all building systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and compressed air systems, are operating optimally and in compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
Performed facilities maintenance work orders and repairs including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and HVACMonitor and maintain building systems to ensure optimal performanceConduct routine inspections of facility infrastructure and address issues proactivelyRespond to facility-related emergencies and take appropriate corrective actionsMaintain facility documentation for audits and inspectionsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building safetyMaintain cleanliness and good housekeeping practicesUtilize the SAP maintenance management program to write notifications, create orders, and review equipment historyOperate company mobile equipment such as forklifts and scissor liftsUse specialty hand and shop tools as requiredComply with Plant rules and Safety requirementsPrioritize and organize work efficiently, determining necessary resources for assignmentsPerform Preventive Maintenance inspections and audits, documenting findingsCommunicate the status of daily assignments to relevant supervisors and team membersEssential Skills
Prior facilities experience in a manufacturing setting requiredKnowledge and use of hand and shop toolsAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belcamp, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
