Job Description

The Facilities Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the facility. This role ensures a clean, safe, and efficient environment for staff and visitors. It requires a proactive, service-oriented professional with strong attention to detail and the physical capability to support day-to-day operational needs.

Responsibilities

Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the building's functionality.Conduct repairs and troubleshoot issues to maintain a safe and efficient environment.Implement preventive maintenance strategies to avoid future issues.Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of the facility.Support operational needs through various maintenance activities.

Essential Skills

Facilities maintenance experienceRepair and troubleshooting skillsPreventive maintenance knowledgeProficiency in cleaning and building maintenance3-5 years of facilities or general maintenance experience preferred1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) requiredStrong customer service mindset with a \"can-do\" attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
