Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in property management and facilities services, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting building operations and maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Facilities Technician
**Location:** Miami, FL
**Pay Range:** $22-24
**Shift:** Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and systems in assigned facilities.
+ Assist in maintenance and repair efforts, performing tasks independently as needed.
+ Conduct inspections and repairs to interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.
+ Participate in emergency after-hours support and work on a rotating on-call schedule.
+ Ensure safety procedures are followed, maintain good housekeeping, and recognize hazards to promote a safe work environment.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance.
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Valid state driver’s license.
+ Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
+ Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, bending, and working overhead.
