Job Title: Facilities and Maintenance Technician

Location: Portsmouth, NH (On-site)

Pay: $27-$30/hr

We are seeking a skilled Facilities and Maintenance Technician to support daily operations and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. This role involves performing routine checks, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs to ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently and remain compliant with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and systemsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with minimal supervisionMaintain clean and audit-ready maintenance areasDocument maintenance activities using a computerized system (CMMS)Follow safety procedures and participate in training programsInterpret mechanical drawings and schematicsCollaborate with engineering and reliability teams on repairs and improvement projectsSupport continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Skills:

High school diploma or equivalentAbility to use hand tools and read mechanical drawingsBasic computer skills and shop math knowledgeFamiliarity with standard operating procedures and safety guidelinesExperience in mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance

Work Environment:

Fast-paced manufacturing settingInitial training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM for the first 90 daysShift schedule: 12-hour shifts on a rotating 3- and 4-day patternShift A: Sunday–Tuesday and every other WednesdayShift B: Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
