**Job Title: Facilities Technician**
Job Description
Join our team as a Facilities Technician where you will be responsible for responding to and completing assigned facilities service tickets efficiently, safely, and professionally. You will ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facilities and perform minor repairs to maintain a healthy environment.
Responsibilities
+ Respond to and complete assigned facilities service tickets efficiently, correctly, and safely.
+ Communicate the status of service tickets to requestors in a professional and courteous manner.
+ Perform the daily mail and patient charts run to all sites within the specified timeframe.
+ Troubleshoot the HVAC system for minor adjustments and work with the HVAC vendor on repairs.
+ Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and performed.
+ Respond to facility alarms and equipment system failures.
+ Perform minor repairs and tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy building environment.
+ Assess immediate service requirements and proactively identify potential additional services.
+ Routinely refresh the Hacienda site to ensure cleanliness throughout the day.
+ Assist with shipping and receiving.
+ Conduct ergonomics assessments as needed.
+ Conduct onboarding meetings for new hires to ensure proper workstation setup.
+ Support safety committee and emergency response drills.
+ Schedule, coordinate, and execute intra-office moves, adds, and changes.
+ Coordinate vendor activities and support vendor relationship management as needed.
+ Provide project support for initiatives and special projects.
+ Manage various supplies inventories.
+ Assist in mandatory audits of all Axis sites.
+ Work additional on-call or scheduled hours as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in plumbing, HVAC, troubleshooting, facilities maintenance, and basic HVAC maintenance.
+ Experience with troubleshooting, repair, painting, carpentry, drywall, hand tools, and lighting.
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ 2+ years of experience in facilities and maintenance/construction services.
+ Experience in HVAC troubleshooting is highly desirable.
+ Understanding of California building codes and local ordinances.
+ Familiarity with medical supply terminology and healthcare operations.
+ Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
+ Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to complete tasks in a reasonable timeframe.
+ Reliable car, valid California Driver’s License, insurance, and clear DMV record.
+ Ability to follow all safety precautions.
+ Ability to interact professionally and supportively with persons of all backgrounds.

Work Environment
The position is a day shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility required. You will travel between sites that are 5 to 10 minutes apart. Work is performed in a typical office environment and requires sufficient ambulatory skills to visit various parts of the organization. You should be able to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, and occasionally lift or move up to 30 lbs. The role involves sitting and standing for extended periods and operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other equipment for prolonged periods. Local travel to other health centers is also required.

This is a Contract position based out of Pleasanton, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
