Facilities Technician
**Job Title: Facilities Suite & Elastomer Maintenance Mechanic Level III** Job Description The Facilities Suite & Elastomer Maintenance Mechanic Level III provides essential support to the Engineering Services group by operating and performing daily checks on maintenance equipment and systems. You will assist higher-level mechanics with repairs, adhering to company SOPs, in a fast-paced, safety-oriented team environment. This advanced-level position requires routine and advanced diagnostic troubleshooting with minimal guidance, maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice through meticulous record-keeping. Responsibilities + Gain an in-depth understanding and practical application of core department SOPs, performing all work safely while adhering to GMP guidelines. + Execute Suite & Elastomer preventative maintenance practices to ensure the optimal functioning of manufacturing equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair direct and indirect manufacturing equipment and systems efficiently. + Maintain maintenance areas to ensure audit readiness at all times. + Stay current with training related to job aspects, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. + Demonstrate knowledge of the Elastomer program, including package creation, spares requisition, LOTO boundaries, and work execution. + Document assigned maintenance activities using CMMS functions. + Apply Spare Parts policies and procedures in relation to parts transactions. + Utilize practical knowledge of Quality systems such as DMS and Trackwise. + Participate in safety training programs and use tools and equipment safely according to manufacturer and plant guidelines. + Interpret equipment schematics, P&IDs, and engineering drawings related to manufacturing processing equipment. + Collaborate with Reliability & Engineering on projects and repairs, assisting as SME in root cause investigations related to equipment failures. + Engage in continuous improvement initiatives. + Achieve Skills Matrix scores of 1.5-1.9 in Trade Skills and Equipment Skill. + Perform all other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + High School Diploma or Equivalent. + Ability to utilize hand tools effectively. + Capability to learn and interpret complex mechanical drawings. + Basic computer skills. + Ability to comprehend and apply Standard Operating Procedures continually in all job facets. + Working knowledge of shop math with the ability to read and write. + Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge. Work Environment Currently, the suite maintenance team operates 12-hour shifts in a 3 & 4 day pattern. Shift A works Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, while Shift B works Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday. For the first 90 days, prospective workers will train M-F from 8-4:30 pm before transitioning to the normal shift pattern. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
