**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team on a university campus. This role requires a versatile individual who can handle various maintenance tasks with professionalism and expertise.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform light carpentry tasks, ensuring all repairs and installations are completed efficiently.
+ Execute light drywall work, maintaining the integrity of campus facilities.
+ Address basic plumbing issues, such as fixing clogs in drains or toilets.
+ Replace window screens and door hardware, ensuring security and functionality.
+ Assist with any necessary projects and tasks as required, demonstrating a willingness to support the team.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience as a Facilities Technician in a commercial property setting.
+ Proficiency in handyman skills, including the use of hand tools.
+ Experience in painting, drywall, and general facility maintenance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Customer-facing skills; must be presentable and professional.
+ Flexibility and adaptability in handling various tasks.

**Work Environment**
This position is based on a vibrant university campus. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm, providing essential maintenance services in a dynamic educational environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
