Facilities Technician

*Understanding of Hydraulics / Pumps / Feed Equipment / Building Maintenance
• Good Mechanical Aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Experience with PLC’s a plus
• Understanding of sensors and logic programming for assembly equipment a plus
• Diagnose and repair machines and equipment
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
• Order replacement parts for equipment
• Order lube and grease for equipment
• Monitor equipment daily for any issues
• Establish PM schedule for equipment
• Preform PM on all equipment in the plant (Toolroom / Press Room / Assembly / Shipping)
• Perform daily checks for tow motors
• Assist in design and insulation of new equipment for the plant
• Ensure all Safety devices are operational
• Light Curtains / Palm Buttons / Sensors
• Building and grounds Maintenance
• Ensure the plant is always clean and orderly
• Keep management informed of all maintenance and facility problems
• Other duties assigned by upper management to assist with progress for the company Benefits
