Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $55,000 - $65,000

Shift: Wednesday-Sunday, or Thursday-Monday 9am-6pm

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of furniture, lights, home appliances, and wall mounting of mirrors and artwork. Additionally, you will conduct repairs, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with contractors for specialized maintenance tasks. Your role will also involve conducting inspections and providing snag lists, assisting guests with technical issues, and delivering missing items to clients.

ResponsibilitiesInstall furniture, lights, home appliances, and wall mount mirrors and artwork based on furnishing standards.Conduct repairs including carpentry, handyman tasks, and light painting.Troubleshoot and repair issues; arrange repairs with specialist appliance engineers if needed.Conduct inspections and provide snag lists for apartments.Liaise with contractors on specialized maintenance tasks such as appliances, plumbing, and electrical work, ensuring proper communication and follow-up checks.Assist guests with maintenance and technical issues to support a positive guest experience.Deliver missing items to clients, such as glassware, lighting, and small appliances.Essential Skills3-5 years of facilities experience.Troubleshooting skills.Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.Plumbing and preventive maintenance skills.Painting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience as a General Maintenance / Repairs Technician or in a similar role.Proven experience in repairing home appliances.Knowledge of spare parts and suppliers to source them.Eye for detail and ability to inspect apartments and provide accurate reports.Strong knowledge of maintenance and technical procedures and practices.Client-oriented with excellent communication skills.Comfortable traveling to multiple locations in the San Francisco Bay Area within the same working day.Flexibility in schedule and ability to attend to emergencies as needed.Appropriate certifications for the equipment in use.Flexibility to work weekends (never exceeding 5 working days/week).Great problem-solving skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will report to a regional manager and have the flexibility to keep the company vehicle at home. Work schedules are from Wednesday to Sunday or Thursday to Monday, 9am-6pm. Starting January, new cars will be provided for traveling to job sites, and trucks will be available at the sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
