Facilities Technician 2
Our client, a leader in facilities management, is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 2, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the overall functionality and safety of the assigned buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Facilities Technician 2 **Location:** Salt Lake City, UT **Pay Range:** 22-25 Depending on Experience **What's the Job?** + Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. + Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems and controls, and mechanical systems. + Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. + Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. + Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or GED required. + 2-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance required. + Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time. + Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. + Gain valuable experience in facilities management. + Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. + Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities. + Contribute to the safety and efficiency of the workplace.
