DESCRIPTION:
Join us as a Facilities Specialist II. In this role, you'll maintain and manage critical facility infrastructure and systems while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You'll oversee daily operations, coordinate maintenance activities, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Working collaboratively with diverse teams, you'll manage vendor relationships, maintain documentation, and implement facility improvement projects. Your expertise will help ensure optimal performance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and specialized laboratory/production equipment. You'll also support emergency response and participate in audit preparation while maintaining GMP standards.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma plus 5 years of facilities management or engineering experience in regulated environments
• Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), Facilities Management
• Technical certifications in building systems, GMP, or facilities management preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BMS
• Experience with GMP/GxP requirements and quality management systems
• Proficiency in CMMS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated project management and vendor management skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with budget management and cost control
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
• Proficiency in English required; additional language skills valued
• Must be able to respond to facility emergencies within required timeframes
• Commitment to safety and environmental compliance
