PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist in Mesa, AZ. This role is essential to keeping production equipment, plant systems, and facilities operating safely and efficiently—supporting the teams that build and sustain critical aerospace programs.

About the Role

As a Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist, you’ll be a key contributor to day-to-day facility and equipment reliability. Under general supervision, you’ll perform repairs, respond to service calls, and support production operations by ensuring plant and office facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

Perform routine and non-routine repairs on production equipment, machines, and facility systems.

Read and interpret blueprint drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Serve as the primary point of contact for equipment repairs and coordinate with depot repair and overhaul teams.

Respond to routine maintenance and trouble calls with a strong customer service mindset.

Use hand and power tools to construct, renovate, and repair facilities and equipment.

Support construction, rough-in, and layout activities as required.

Follow building codes, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain reliable and predictable attendance to support production schedules.

Collaborate with maintenance teams and management to meet operational needs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist.

Minimum 2 years of experience supporting facilities maintenance teams.

Minimum 2 years of experience repairing production or industrial equipment.

Basic knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

Preferred Qualifications

Vocational school, technical training, or associate degree.

Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.

Pay Details: $30.32 per hour
