Location: Bothell & Woodinville, WA

Compensation: $130,000 annually

Job Description

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing all facilities and equipment across our Washington sites. This role ensures all programs remain compliant with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and evolving business needs. The Facilities Manager leads validation and qualification activities for new products, equipment, and systems, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. This role also provides leadership, direction, and coaching to the facilities team to support operational excellence.

ResponsibilitiesFacilities & Equipment ManagementLead equipment and facility qualification, calibration, and preventive maintenance programs.Ensure equipment readiness and reliable operation of offices, labs, and cGMP cleanrooms.Oversee pest control, cleaning (GMP & non‑GMP), waste management, access control, and building management relationships.Track and manage all maintenance requests through completion.Coordinate office space planning, furniture needs, and workstation assignments.Performance & OperationsEstablish, maintain, and report departmental KPIs.Direct daily operations and resource allocation within the facilities function.Manage performance reviews, coaching, and corrective actions.Support equipment and facility validation activities across platforms.Meet functional performance goals and KPI targets.Quality & ComplianceMaintain compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory requirements.Lead investigations, CAPAs, and quality improvement initiatives.Serve as the Facilities Subject Matter Expert during client, regulatory, and internal audits.SafetyEnsure a safe work environment and proper escalation of safety concerns.Partner with Environmental Health & Safety on building code compliance and regulatory requirements.Additional DutiesMaintain technical knowledge through professional development and industry engagement.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProven leadership experience with strong team development capabilities.Strong communication, analytical, and decision‑making skills.Project management experience in equipment or facilities functions.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift the required weight for job‑related tasks.QualificationsAssociate degree required.Relevant experience in biotech or GMP environments, including program management.1+ year managing equipment or facilities programs.2+ years of supervisory experience.Experience with validation and executing large‑scale facility or equipment projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsCMRP certification preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Smartsheet experience preferred.Occasional travel required.Why Work Here?

This role operates in office, lab, and cGMP cleanroom environments where gowning is required. Position is based in Bothell and Woodinville, WA, with occasional travel.
