Facilities Manager
**Job Title: Facilities Manager** **Job Description** As a Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations, setting departmental rules in alignment with company guidelines, and optimizing maintenance operations. You will lead initiatives in maintenance and project management while managing budgets and personnel to ensure efficient operations. **Responsibilities** + Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and government safety and environmental rules and regulations by conducting safety meetings and training. + Set departmental rules and policies in alignment with company guidelines. + Plan and prioritize preventative maintenance schedules to maximize uptime. + Oversee and optimize maintenance operations, managing record-keeping, attendance, and documentation on the network for maintenance programs. + Assign and review work for quality and completion; manage schedules. + Train and evaluate employees, manage performance, address discipline, and foster good employee relations. + Coach and develop the maintenance team, identify hiring and training needs, and build a positive, can-do culture. + Act as an effective company ambassador during interactions with customers, contractors, management, and department leaders. + Lead initiatives in maintenance and project management. + Budget and manage maintenance costs, ensuring efficient use of personnel, inventory, and spare parts. + Perform hands-on duties to assist with repairs and supervise and provide training as needed. **Essential Skills** + Management skills + Facilities maintenance/management + Facilities design/layout + Experience with facilities management software + Knowledge of building systems + Experience in a manufacturing or distribution company **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in setting up and moving to a new facility is a plus + Plant Manager experience is a plus **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that is expanding and opening a new plant in Johnson Creek.
