Facilities Manager
Job Description We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of our 2 aerospace manufacturing facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong background in project management, vendor coordination, and facilities operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts using SAP.  • Oversee procurement and payment systems for facility-related services and supplies.  • Schedule and supervise plumbers, handymen, and other maintenance personnel for 2 facilities.  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors.  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.  • Work with suppliers and contractors to meet safety requirements.  • Address and resolve any facility-related issues that arise in the office.  • Maintain a clean, functional, and professional work environment. Skills and Requirements • 1 year of experience in Facilities Management or Project Management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.  • familiarity with SAP for vendor and payment management.  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.  • Excellent communication  • Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.  • Reliable transportation is required for occasional off-site visits or errands. • Experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing environments is a plus.  • Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is a plus.  • Certification in project management (PMP) or facilities management (FMP, CFM) is a plus.
