We are offering a standout opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of high-quality industrial assets across Brisbane’s inner suburbs.
Aligned directly to one of our key clients, ESR Group — Australia’s largest fund manager of industrial, logistics and commercial real estate – you will play a pivotal role in delivering operational excellence. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager and supported by a highly experienced network of property professionals, you will be responsible for the efficient, cost-effective operation, maintenance and continual improvement of all services across the portfolio.
**Here’s a snapshot of your day** ;
• Manage services supporting critical environments and specialist service providers, including (but not limited to) essential fire safety systems, mechanical services, roller doors and docks, hydraulic services and landscaping
• Work closely with multiple stakeholders, ensuing clear communication, strong relationships and well-considered operational recommendations
• Oversee operating expenditure and drive the sustainable, efficient and cost-effective operation and performance of plant and equipment
• Coordinate and manage minor reactive works across the portfolio to ensure timely and effective resolution
• Conduct regular building inspections in line with the building operating model, accurately document findings and ensuring proactive management
**Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;**
• Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management or Operational roles, with a strong understanding of building operations and services (fire, mechanical, plumbing etc)
• A trade background, project management experience, or a degree in Facilities Management / Property / Construction (highly regarded)
• Proven experience managing services within critical high-intensity environments, with a focus on efficiency, risk management and service delivery
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
• High level of IT & technology capability across property and FM systems, with Yardi and Rapid Global experience highly regarded
• A strong ability to balance autonomous day-to-day site management with proactive collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups
• Proven ability to interpret dashboards, data and digital reports effectively to inform operational decisions
• A current driver’s licence and access to a car
