**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will oversee the operations and maintenance of a 470,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include performing minor hands-on repairs to support your team and ensure efficient operations, as well as managing administrative tasks to maintain smooth facility management.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Manage multiple vendors providing both soft and hard services, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
+ Oversee work order management, including assignment and occasional direct involvement in tasks.
+ Facilitate weekly governance meetings with clients to review performance metrics and address any issues.
+ Administer budgets, process purchase orders (POs), and ensure financial compliance.
+ Coordinate soft services such as landscaping, janitorial, security, and food services.
+ Perform light maintenance tasks, including patch painting, drywall repairs, and clearing minor clogs.
+ Provide formal supervision to team members, monitor training and development, and conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
+ Schedule and coordinate daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and implement cross-training initiatives.
+ Set and monitor deadlines for staff and department objectives; provide mentorship and coaching as needed.
+ Facilitate facility repairs and maintenance by collaborating with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
+ Maintain positive client relationships through regular meetings to address unresolved facility issues.
+ Plan and oversee capital projects, manage operating budgets, and prepare variance reports.
+ Conduct facility inspections to ensure quality assurance in compliance with applicable regulations; recommend operational improvements, repairs, and upgrades.
+ Manage environmental health and safety protocols within all facilities.
+ Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing processes; review and approve quotes for parts, services, and labor associated with projects.
+ Lead training sessions on maintenance procedures, repair protocols, and safety best practices.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
+ Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
+ Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
+ Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $90,000 annually [or $43.27 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $103,000 annually [or $49.52 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
