Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to deliver integrated facilities management services across a portfolio of owned and leased assets for Property and Development NSW (PDNSW) and Client Agencies.

This role ensures the smooth operation of sites by managing maintenance, compliance, vendor relationships, budgets, and the overall workplace experience. You will act as a key partner to our client, ensuring service excellence while meeting contractual and regulatory obligations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day facilities management across multiple sites, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.

Manage building and equipment maintenance schedules, reactive maintenance, and property condition audits.

Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and vendors to deliver high-quality services in line with SLA’s and KPI’s.

Manage budgets and expenditure within approved delegations, including invoice and quote approvals.

Build strong relationships with clients, landlords, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Ensure safety, risk management, and compliance protocols are adhered to at all times.

About You

Proven experience in facilities management across commercial or government portfolios.

Strong vendor management and contractor coordination skills.

Knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and WHS compliance obligations.

Solid financial management capability, including budget oversight and invoice approvals.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
