About the role:
Facilities Operations: Oversee daily maintenance and service delivery across building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety), ensuring optimal uptime and compliance.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a facilities team—assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training.Vendor & Contract Management: Manage vendor relationships; negotiate and oversee service agreements; monitor vendor KPIs and ensure compliance.Budget & Cost Control: Oversee the facilities budget, monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and validate vendor invoices.Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory standards; conduct risk assessments and implement emergency response protocols.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders—address concerns and ensure seamless operations.Project Management: Lead facility improvement initiatives, renovations, and capital upgrades—ensuring delivery on time and within budget.Technology & Sustainability: Implement Building Management Systems (BMS) and pursue eco-efficient solutions for sustainability and operational improvement.Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation—operations logs, vendor contracts, budgets, compliance audits—for transparency and governance.EHS & Emergency Response: Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives; conduct safety training and serve as part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).About you:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldCertifications: Holding IFMA’s CFM or RICS accreditation is an advantage.Experience: Minimum of 10 years in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity—particularly overseeing large or complex sites.Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with FM tools and systems (e.g., FM360, Archibus, Yardi) and strong asset performance optimization skills.Safety & Compliance Acumen: Deep understanding of safety regulations, risk management, and quality assurance in FM contexts.Leadership & Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, engage stakeholders, and communicate effectively across all levelsWhy join Cushman & Wakefield?
