Job Description
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a daylight shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. After 90 days of employment, employees can choose to work four 10-hour shifts or Tuesday through Saturday each week. Responsibilities
Prepare and perform all necessary repairs to vacant apartments for new residents.Respond to all service requests and on-call emergencies in a timely and professional manner.Diagnose, repair, and/or replace HVAC systems, windows, screens, doors, shelves, cabinets, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components.Conduct painting, carpentry, and drywall repairs following RRP protocol.Maintain the exterior property for curb appeal, including snow removal.Complete work order requests promptly in accordance with company policies.Provide preventative maintenance for all building systems, equipment, and components.Be aware of all utility meter cut-offs and sewer cleanouts.Be available for weekend work, on-call rotation, and emergency service call duties.Essential Skills
High School diploma or GED required; trade school and/or industry certifications (NAHMS, CAMT, OSHA, HVAC) preferred.Minimum of two years of multi-site, multi-family, multi-property type operational management experience.At least two years of advanced hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, or electrical repairs.Valid driver's license required.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in hotel, resort, or retail management is advantageous.Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.Capability to lift and/or move items up to 80 pounds.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work involves active participation with occasional lifting of items up to 80 pounds and may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions. This role requires flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as needed for emergency repairs. The environment encompasses various buildings in the East Liberty area.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
