Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility and HVAC systems. You will play a crucial part in performing preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as collaborating with engineers on equipment and systems installation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain facility and HVAC equipment and systems.Perform plumbing tasks around the facility.Execute facilities and process equipment operational and preventive maintenance procedures.Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues or plan for acquiring and installing new equipment or systems.Install new facilities and process equipment.Support waste management tasks.Monitor facility and HVAC systems and suggest modifications for improvement.Maintain facility data collection requirements and procedures.Identify nonconformances when they occur and participate in finding solutions.Ensure facilities maintenance work follows safety standards, conforms to specifications, and that work orders are tracked and completed within budgeted guidelines.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in plumbing and facilities maintenance.Experience with HVAC systems repair.6+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing or production environment.Experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial and commercial equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Commercial or Industrial facilities experience is preferred.Plumbing experience is highly advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing/warehouse facility environment. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middle River, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
