Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform light maintenance tasks across commercial properties in the Knoxville area. This flexible, on-call position is ideal for someone running their own business or looking for additional income. You will use your own vehicle to travel to job sites, and we will provide all necessary tools. The work involves straightforward tasks such as changing ballasts, replacing outlets, and minor drywall repairs.

Responsibilities

Replace ballasts and electrical outlets.Perform light drywall patching and repairs.Handle general facility maintenance tasks as needed.Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.Maintain a professional and courteous presence on-site.

Essential Skills

Reliable personal vehicle.Basic knowledge of electrical and drywall repair.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in facilities maintenance.Skills in electrical work, plumbing, and repair.Capability in drywall and wiring.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
