Facilities Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee and manage the maintenance of all facilities within our buildings. This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment and infrastructure including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, flooring, fire protection, and grounds. Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment and infrastructure. + Document maintenance orders in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) using a tablet. + Conduct basic facility repairs such as patching, painting, carpentry, and light construction. + Change HVAC filters and clean/maintain all units throughout the plants, both inside and outside. + Troubleshoot any HVAC issues and maintain an inventory of all filters and supplies for HVAC systems. + Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair air compressors and dryers. + Maintain inventory of filters and parts for all compressors. + Perform handyman tasks including repairs on electrical switches, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, cement, plumbing, painting, and caulking. + Manage the storage and mechanical room, assisting with the organization of pallets and non-inventory items. Essential Skills + Experience in plumbing, facilities maintenance, electrical, HVAC, and repair work. + Knowledge in preventive maintenance and building maintenance. + Proficiency with facility maintenance, drywall, painting, lighting, carpentry, and power tools. + Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work. + Ability to work independently and as a self-starter. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a food and beverage plant adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred. + Low voltage electrical experience is a plus. + Heavy HVAC experience is necessary to maintain specific room temperatures due to food storage requirements. Work Environment The work environment is a mixture of climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas, with some areas being wet and humid. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates must possess all basic hand tools to perform job duties effectively. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leesburg, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
