**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and assets by applying a variety of craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, and food equipment. The role involves utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Responsibilities + Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets using a variety of craft skills. + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete tasks. + Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. + Use the work order management system to receive and document reactive repair requests. + Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests on facilities and equipment to identify issues. + Ensure operational efficiency through regular maintenance. + Complete all required safety training to operate tools and equipment in compliance with company standards. Essential Skills + Facilities maintenance + Plumbing + HVAC + Electrical + Carpentry + Troubleshooting + Mechanical repair + Preventive maintenance + Building maintenance Additional Skills & Qualifications + Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 5 years' experience in the same fields. + Documentation of repairs and troubleshooting skills. + Effective communication with team leaders. + Computer proficiency for data input. + Valid driver's license. + Willingness to take a certification course.
