**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician** Job Description The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a commercial property. This includes various maintenance duties such as light electrical, plumbing, concrete/asphalt, door repairs, tile installation, painting, event setup, trash pickup, and furniture moves. Responsibilities + Perform preventive maintenance work orders according to schedule. + Execute all work in a safe and professional manner, completing tasks accurately and on time. + Demonstrate light electrical skills for tasks such as maintaining emergency lights, exit signs, and conducting lamp sweeps. + Maintain and repair plumbing systems as needed. + Maintain and repair interior and exterior finishes of buildings. + Paint interior and exterior walls and trim, focusing on touch-ups and repairs. + Operate scissor or boom lifts, and work from ladders to replace light bulbs and hang banners. + Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time. + Ensure facilities are clean in appearance, including removing trash. Essential Skills + GED or equivalent two-year college or technical trade school, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. + 2 to 5 years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. + Valid driver’s license. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. + Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. + Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Scissor or boom lift experience and certification preferred. Why Work Here?
