Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of Medical Office Buildings in the Indianapolis area. This includes the maintenance of HVAC systems, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and performing monthly preventive maintenance.
ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance tasks such as replacing and repairing ceiling tiles and grids, door hardware, restroom fixtures, lighting, and general building finishes.Conduct minor electrical repairs on receptacles and have a basic understanding of electrical systems.Repair and replace facility lighting, ballast, switches, and receptacles.Perform weekly and monthly generator load transfers.Understand and manage fire alarm systems and notification systems, including fire system impairment for testing and construction purposes.Have basic knowledge of water treatment and wet sprinkler systems.Respond to comfort calls, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair base building HVAC equipment.Make adjustments to building management systems for facility comfort and utility savings.Perform preventive maintenance on building equipment and coordinate outsourced preventive maintenance with vendors.Order materials and contractor services as per contract and purchase order procedures.Use basic hand tools and a multimeter for troubleshooting building equipment and systems.Maintain an organized and clean facility, including shops, storage rooms, vacant spaces, and mechanical areas.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
