Job Description
As a Facility Technician, you will be a key interface between end users, technical staff, and suppliers for equipment, installation, or systems. You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other associated systems, ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing and laboratory equipment.
ResponsibilitiesConduct maintenance and repair work on facility, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building management, and other installed equipment.Perform maintenance and repair work on manufacturing and laboratory equipment.Understand building management systems (BMS), fire/life safety systems, purified water, and environmental monitoring systems.Work off work orders to troubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance.Review standard operating procedures (SOP) for maintenance and manufacturing lines.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.Allocate time efficiently: 60% maintaining equipment, labs, manufacturing, HVAC, cleaning/troubleshooting; 30% handy work and groundskeeping; 10% internal meetings and trainings, day-to-day planning.Essential Skills3-5 years experience in a facilities maintenance position.Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in clean room environments, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, and manufacturing practices (GMP).Knowledge of CMMS.EPA Universal certification.Special Boilers license.Experience with Building Automation Systems, HVAC with rooftop units.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
