**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with experience in painting, patching, plumbing, and electrical work. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a building maintenance helper and has the ability to perform various maintenance tasks effectively. **Responsibilities** + Conduct daily walkthroughs of hospital grounds to identify functional systems, detect malfunctions, and determine needed repairs. + Perform minor electrical maintenance, including replacing lightbulbs and installing or removing general light fixtures. + Carry out minor plumbing maintenance, such as repairing leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging drains, and replacing drain hoses on washers. + Perform additional minor duties, including adjusting doors, fitting locks and handles. + Reconfigure, install, position, and remount office furniture and space elements to meet user needs and maximize office space using various hand tools. + Order parts and maintain required documentation. + Perform other work-related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in maintenance repair, preventive maintenance, and building maintenance. + Ability to perform facility maintenance and handle tasks as a handyman. + Proficiency with hand tools and ability to work in a hospital facility environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in facility maintenance and handling tasks related to building maintenance. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing stability and career growth potential.
