Facilities Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Facilities Technician** **Job Description** The Facilities Technician performs a wide range of general maintenance tasks, including specialized or difficult jobs involving high voltage motors. The role involves repairing, maintaining, and inspecting machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings, with specific attention to plumbing and HVAC systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of general maintenance jobs, including work on high voltage motors. + Repair, maintain, and inspect machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings. + Work on plumbing, air conditioning, and heating systems including PMs (preventive maintenance) on belts, filters, motors, etc. + Perform plumbing tasks such as adjustment and repair of pipes and plumbing fixtures, valves, floats, drains, grease traps, sump pumps, watering systems, air-conditioning units, freezers, refrigerators, hot water heaters, HVAC units, and similar equipment. + Unclog drain lines and sewers. + Make minor adjustments to building controls as necessary. + Perform routine maintenance according to an established schedule to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently. + Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance work. + Keep records of maintenance and repair tasks. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of building maintenance experience (residential experience considered if motivated to advance). + High school diploma. + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with preventive maintenance on HVAC and plumbing equipment. + Skills in troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and building maintenance. **Work Schedule** The role involves working Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $56160.00/yr.
