**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician** **Shift:** 5:30am-4pm Monday-Thursday (optional overtime on Friday/Saturday) **Pay:** $17.60/hr **Location:** Ocala, FL (34474) **Position Type:** Contract to hire **Job Description:** The Maintenance Technician will begin each day with a team lead meeting to align on daily goals. The role is primarily focused on preventive maintenance (PM) (about 80% of the time), with the remainder spent on repairs and troubleshooting across various facility systems. **🔧 Key Responsibilities:** + Perform preventive maintenance on: + Doors, compressors, air tools + HVAC systems, CNC machines, and facility equipment + Troubleshoot and repair: + Electrical systems (including 480V) + Plumbing (toilets, sinks, urinals, air fittings) + HVAC and hydraulic systems + General facility upkeep: + Replace filters and lightbulbs + Clean equipment and workspaces + Use manuals, schedules, and work orders to guide tasks + Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs + Apply lubricants and grease fittings as needed + Run conduit and pull wire as required **🧰 Top Skills Required:** + Preventive Maintenance + Troubleshooting + Electrical (especially 480V systems) + HVAC + Plumbing + Hydraulics + Facilities Maintenance **✅ Qualifications & Experience:** + Entry-level experience acceptable + Strong problem-solving mindset + Ability to read and follow technical instructions + Comfortable working with hand and power tools Work Environment: + Non climate controlled manufacturing facility **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.60 - $22.50/hr.
