Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the general maintenance and orderliness of the property. This role oversees maintenance systems to guarantee optimal operations and tenant satisfaction, adhering to department protocols.
ResponsibilitiesComplete work orders for tasks related to physical maintenance and repairs of assigned buildings using work order software programs.Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol.Assist in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories, and logs.Implement and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan, including all related records and logs.Assist with controlling expenses associated with building operations.Communicate building status and changes effectively to appropriate individuals.Act professionally and courteously at all times with tenants, hospital clients, co-workers, vendors, and patients.Utilize materials, supplies, tools, and other building property in a safe and productive manner.Essential Skills4+ years of facilities maintenance experience.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Basic aptitude for mathematics and computer skills.Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork and positive relations with clients, tenants, and co-workers.Additional Skills & QualificationsCFC Handling Certification.Trade School Certifications.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Initially maintain a 90,000 sq. ft. medical office building. Primarily work at one building but be prepared to travel to different locations when necessary. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with an on-call rotation for weekends, from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM, depending on work orders.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
