Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with expertise in painting, patching, plumbing, and electrical work. This role requires 1-2 years of experience as a maintenance helper. The technician will perform minor electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of building systems.

ResponsibilitiesConduct daily walkthroughs of hospital grounds to identify functional systems and detect malfunctions or needed repairs.Perform preventative maintenance tasks and document any repairs noticed within the building.Perform minor electrical maintenance, such as replacing lightbulbs and installing light fixtures.Execute minor plumbing maintenance, including repairing leaks in drains and faucets and unclogging drains.Adjust doors, fit locks and handles, and perform other minor duties as necessary.Reconfigure, install, position, or remount office furniture and spaces to meet user needs and optimize office space using various hand tools.Order parts and maintain required documents.Perform other work-related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in maintenance repair and facilities maintenance.Proficiency in preventive maintenance and building maintenance.Skillful use of hand tools for maintenance tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in hospital facility maintenance.Ability to perform handyman tasks efficiently.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
