Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machines in the Flavor and Popcorn departments. You will play a crucial role in repairing and maintaining various equipment to ensure continuous production and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain equipment such as Auger Fillers, Gable Top Carton Filling Machines, Vertical Form/Fill/Seal Machines, Combination Scales, Conveyor Systems, Ink Jet Printers, Liquid Processors, Ribbon Blenders, Vibratory Screens, and X-Ray and Metal Detection equipment.Install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and other industrial equipment.Set up, adjust, and maintain machinery to meet quality and production goals.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.Perform equipment changeovers and conduct scheduled maintenance based on production needs.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, reporting and addressing any issues found.Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to ensure proper equipment maintenance and repair.

Essential Skills

Experience with repairing Auger Fillers, Gable Top Carton Filling Machines, Vertical Form/Fill/Seal Machines, Combination Scales, Conveyor Systems, Ink Jet Printers, Liquid Processors, Ribbon Blenders, Vibratory Screens, and X-Ray and Metal Detection equipment.Ability to install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and industrial machinery.Proficient in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.Experience in performing equipment changeovers and scheduled maintenance.Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in facility, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing maintenance.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair, including preventative and corrective maintenance.Knowledge of electrical systems and boiler maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
