Maintenance Manager, Datum Dental (part of the Dentsply Sirona group) - Yavne Site, Israel
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our medical device manufacturing facility and ensure reliable, compliant and continuous production in a cleanroom environment.
In this role, you will take ownership of the site maintenance activities in a regulated GMP and ISO 13485 environment, working closely with Engineering, Validation, Quality and Production. The position combines hands-on technical work with system responsibility for critical equipment and infrastructure.
What will you do?
Lead the maintenance program including preventive maintenance, breakdown response, improvements and reduction of recurring failures, ensuring maximum equipment availability.
Maintain production equipment operating in cleanrooms and manage critical utilities including HVAC systems (pressure, temperature and humidity), purified water (PW), compressed air, electricity and CO₂ supply.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation and control systems using PLC / HMI / SCADA for monitoring and diagnostics.
Manage contractors and external service providers working under cleanroom and regulatory requirements.
Work according to ISO 13485 and GMP requirements, maintaining controlled documentation of maintenance, calibrations and repairs, writing and updating SOPs, handling deviations, participating in investigations and implementing CAPAs.
Prepare equipment and infrastructure for internal and external audits and support cross-department technical decisions.
Collaborate with Validation teams to maintain validated status of equipment and utilities, participate in IQ / OQ / PQ and re-validation activities and manage Change Control processes related to maintenance.
Ensure proper separation between maintenance activities and production according to validation and cleanliness requirements.
What are we looking for?
Certified Electrician license - mandatory
Proven maintenance management experience in a manufacturing plant -mandatory
Experience in a regulated industry (medical device or pharmaceutical) -mandatory
Hands-on troubleshooting capability in electrical and control systems
Experience working with CMMS maintenance systems- mandatory
Understanding of documentation, calibration, validation and change control processes
Ability to work with Quality, Validation, Engineering and Production interfaces
High availability including off-hours support when required
Nice to have
Experience with cleanroom HVAC systems
Experience with purified water systems (PW)
Knowledge of industrial instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, valves)
