Facilities Maintenance Mechanic
Our client, a leader in food processing and innovation, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting lab operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and mechanical troubleshooting expertise which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Mechanic** **Location: Buffalo, NY** **Pay Range: $25/hour** **What’s the Job?** + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic lab equipment + Perform annual preventive maintenance across lab systems + Interpret assembly drawings, manuals, and logic principles to resolve equipment issues + Collaborate with vendors for complex troubleshooting + Train and support associates in equipment operation and maintenance **What’s Needed?** + ​​​​​​​3–5 years of experience in food processing or related field + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge + Understanding of GMP and food safety standards + Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures **What’s in it for me?** + 6-month temporary position + Monday–Friday from 8am-5pm schedule with early Friday close (1pm) + Gain hands-on experience with lab-scale equipment + Work with an innovative and safety-conscious team + Competitive pay - starting at $25/hour If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
