Facilities Maintenance Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the community support sector, is seeking a temporary Facilities Maintenance Manager to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for multiple locations but primary focus will be on one site that is relocating.  You will oversee two Maintenance staff with daily facility duties as well as facilitating the move and refurbishing the site back to original state.  This role has not set timeframe and we are seeking someone with three years or more experience to start ASAP.

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $34-37/hour

Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for project execution across multiple locations, including repairs, maintenance, furniture moves, and office renovations. Develop and manage facility needs lists, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects. Monitor and maintain the safety, security, and overall condition of each facility, working with leasing companies and other entities as needed. Oversee contracts and vendors for services such as janitorial, security, and utilities, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency. Conduct safety drills, update evacuation plans, and oversee emergency preparedness plans in coordination with relevant departments.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus. Minimum of three years of experience in facilities maintenance and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, etc.). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to read leases and architectural drawings, and manage procurement and bidding processes.
