The Facilities Maintenance Engineer is responsible for promptly and safely performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems. This includes maintenance and repair tasks on industrial electrical systems, plumbing, pressure systems, HVAC, and carpentry throughout the facility. Additional duties include replacing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, door knobs, locking systems, and cabinets.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on building and facilities equipment.Conduct maintenance on industrial electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, door knobs, locking systems, and cabinets.Ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Work from schematics and blueprints to execute maintenance tasks.Essential Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of direct facilities maintenance experience in an industrial setting.Proficiency in maintenance repairs on building electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work.Industrial maintenance experience.Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance expertise.Experience with industrial electrical systems (480 Volt, Three Phase).Relevant schooling such as an associate degree or certifications.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in an industrial food-grade facility that maintains a clean environment. Some areas may be colder due to refrigeration, requiring long sleeves for comfort. Employees will be exposed to wet, humid, and colder conditions within the facility, which operates as a milk distribution center for the state of Michigan and produces Hudsonville ice cream. The facility is one of the top-performing plants in the country.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $91520.00/yr.
