You will sit onsite in Salt Lake City, UT; Dallas, TX; Columbus, OH; San Francisco, CA or Menlo Park, CA, while remotely supporting and managing the remaining sites within the portfolio. While this role has no direct reports, you will partner closely with external service providers and vendors to coordinate, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance, reactive service work, and building system repairs. You will ensure operational consistency, reliability, compliance, and service quality across all assigned locations. This position is part of the Engineering & Technical Services job function, responsible for maintaining building infrastructure and providing technical support that drives system uptime, occupant comfort, and operational excellence across the client’s real estate portfolio. **What You’ll Do:** + Oversee building systems operations (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety) across a portfolio of ~60 wealth management office locations, ensuring reliability, compliance, and service continuity. + Serve as the onsite Engineering Operations Manager at the assigned hub location while managing all other sites remotely within the portfolio. + Coordinate, schedule, and oversee vendor performed preventive and reactive maintenance, including service providers for mechanical, electrical, and general building systems. + Develop specifications, solicit bids, negotiate terms, and support vendor contract development. + Monitor, evaluate, and ensure vendor performance, verifying adherence to scope, SLAs, safety requirements, and client standards. + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues related to building systems, escalating when needed and ensuring timely resolution. + Maintain and enforce engineering and maintenance standards, integrating client specific requirements into the operating program. + Manage facility controls and asset management systems, ensuring accurate data, proper operation, and maintenance documentation. + Support annual operating budget planning, including forecasting, tracking, and managing maintenance and operations expenses across the portfolio. + Responsible for KPI performance and deliverables, ensuring 100% on-time submission while leveraging CBRE data tools to achieve successful results. + Provide 24/7 response to severe weather, and other events impacting operations across the regional portfolio, including initial response, client communication, vendor coordination, and follow-up; delegate tasks when appropriate. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as system optimization, preventive maintenance enhancements, and operational best practices. + Support site assessments, peer reviews, and compliance evaluations, documenting findings and coordinating follow up actions. + Partner closely with clients to support reconfigurations, operational changes, and evolving space requirements across multiple office locations. + Collaborate cross functionally with other CBRE teams (Workplace, Facilities, Project Management, etc.) to ensure seamless operational delivery. + Apply technical expertise in engineering systems to evaluate issues beyond standard procedures and recommend effective solutions. + Model CBRE RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) in all interactions, driving positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal partners. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3–5 years of relevant experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Engineering Operations Manager position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Engineering Operations Manager is $100,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
