Job description:
Job overview: As a facilities engineer, you will be a core driver of our factory’s automation transformation. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing manufacturing equipment and systems. By integrating IoT, robotics and automation systems, you will significantly enhance production line efficiency, quality and flexibility.
What You Will Do:
Upgrade or replace end-of-life software & hardware to ensure compliance, usability and reliability.Develop PLC logics and upgrade control parameters to support quality enhancements, efficiency improvements and cost reduction.Design, develop and deploy new production lines & stations control system together with manufacturing engineers and suppliers, including hardware selection, program framework and network architecture design, Wonderware deployment etc.Implement machine/equipment connectivity (IoT) to establish seamless data flow from the shop floor to the management level.Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve smart manufacturing level.Solve complex and chronic equipment issues.What Skills You Will Have:

Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering and automation, mechatronics or related fields.Relevant work experience in automation system design and implementation.Knowledge in SIEMENS PLC&HMI, including hardware installation, troubleshooting and program development with Portal /STEP 7/WINCC. Knowledge in AB PLC is a plus.Knowledge in automation control system integration, including robot, RFID, vision system, servo system, etc.Ability to use electrical design software such as AutoCAD electrical, EPLAN, etc.Good English both in oral and written.Effective teamwork and communication skills.Capability to work under pressure.Desired Qualifications:
Familiar with Industry 4.0 concepts like digital Twin, Machine Vision, and AI applications in manufacturing.Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g.,OPC UA, Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus) and cybersecurity principles.High-level programming language (VB, C#, C++…) development capabilities.Analytical skills for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.Diligent, proactive, self-motived and open-minded.Additional Information:
This position may require less than 10% travelThis position requires working onsite five days a week.
