Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the supporting Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have Electrical and HVAC skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Maintenance Engineer**
**Location: San Francisco**
**Pay Range: 47$ an hour**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Assist with JIRA tickets for equipment support from external vendors:
+ Collect information in-person and from stakeholders
+ Relay information to suppliers
+ Update tickets accurately and promptly
+ Request quotes from suppliers and create purchase requisitions on behalf of FTE manager
+ Perform general preventative and break/fix maintenance on building HVAC / MEP equipment
+ Maintain documentation and records of work completed using CMMS:
+ Maintenance calendars
+ Equipment files
+ Schedule onsite visits with third-party technicians and coordinate with stakeholders
+ Complete validation checklists and maintain electronic records
**Environmental Monitoring**
+ Serve as administrator for the BMS environmental monitoring system:
+ Create new accounts
+ Deprecate inactive accounts
+ Physically manage sensors and HVAC equipment (fan coil units, VAVs, AHUs, etc.)
+ Respond to email and text alerts:
+ Investigate and resolve alerts
+ Communicate with stakeholders
**Additional Responsibilities**
+ Furniture installation and moves (new, relocation, assembly, disassembly)
+ Wall repairs (patching, painting, sanding)
+ Floor maintenance (minor carpet cleanup/repair, carpet tile replacement, sealing)
+ Basic plumbing (clearing obstructions, leak repair, fixture replacement, caulking)
+ Basic HVAC (adjusting room temperature, performing daily checks)
+ Personnel moves, additions, and changes
+ Conference room and café setup
+ General painting and other services
+ Respond to alarms and emergencies
