The Opportunity:

As a Facilities Electrical Installation Technician, your main responsibilities will span a wide range of electrical work. This includes installation, commissioning, fault-finding, maintenance, and repair, all in accordance with current legislation and codes of practice. In addition, you will be working with the extended team on a wide range of varied tasks to include all aspects of Facility site maintenance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Completing Dynamic Risk Assessments along with adhering to the company’s Health and Safety policy

Electrical installation of new office, factory floor & external services

Installation, repair & regulatory testing of all sites internal & external lighting

Installation & repair of site fire alarm systems

Installation & repair of site data network infrastructure

Utilising a Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP PM, Agility etc)

Complete training and further learning as required

Degree Requirement:

ONC or HNC Required

Skills, experience & qualifications you will have:

18th Edition Wiring Regulation

NVQ Level 2 or 3 Electrical Installation Qualifications

Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations

Experience in electrical installation/maintenance

An interest in problem solving and passion to learn

Highly motivated with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement

Strong communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team and be comfortable to work independently

Experience in the use of hand tools and test equipment

Lock out Tag out SSoW

Top Candidates will have

Compex

IPAF Licence

Knowledge of CDM Regulations

Asbestos awareness

BMS experience

BS5239 Part 1 Fire systems

PASMA
