**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Facilities** **Electrical Engineer** to join our team in **Aurora, CO** . This position is responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise for design and construction projects as well as facility operations at a critical defense facility. To qualify, you must possess an **active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.** In this role, you will serve on the site engineering team within the facilities management organization responding to electrical engineering inquiries and concerns from the customer, design & construction contractors, Site Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support contractors, local utilities, and other stakeholders. Other Key Responsibilities: + Clearly communicating complex electrical engineering matters to a variety of customer personnel at multiple levels. + Review and comment on design documentation, operational procedures, and construction installations - ensuring quality control in your area of expertise. + Coordinate with the on-site Facilities O&M support contractor to ensure uninterrupted operation and continued resiliency. + Analyze power capacity, usage rates, and trends. + Assist in the evaluation of anomalies and perform root cause analysis. + Independently review and provide response to requests for information (RFI), shop drawings, and construction submittals in support of construction efforts. + Lead technically complex electrical engineering projects. + Develop and generate standards, specifications, ROMs, and SOWs. Desired Qualifications: + Master's Degree in business or engineering. + Licensed Professional Engineer (any State). + Experience with Data Centers. + Experience with medium voltage. + Experience with automation and controls from concept planning, configuration, and development.
