Facilities Coordinator
**Job Title: Facilities Coordinator** **Job Description** As a Facilities Coordinator, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including managing work orders, conducting inspections, tracking assets, and addressing maintenance and safety issues. You will coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure service quality and accurate documentation. Additionally, you will support space planning and workplace changes, working closely with IT, HR, and Security for seamless execution. You will maintain environmental health and safety (EHS), compliance, and security programs, and manage workplace services, supplies, and small facilities projects while supporting reporting, KPIs, and operational data integrity. **Responsibilities** + Lead day-to-day facilities operations, including work order management, inspections, asset tracking, and escalation of maintenance and safety issues. + Coordinate vendors and contractors across building services, ensuring service quality, documentation, and invoice accuracy. + Support space planning and workplace changes, partnering with IT, HR, and Security to ensure smooth execution. + Maintain EHS, compliance, and security programs, including safety walkthroughs, emergency preparedness, and required documentation. + Manage workplace services, supplies, and small facilities projects, while supporting reporting, KPIs, and operational data integrity. **Essential Skills** + Facilities maintenance/management + Customer service + Plumbing + Electrical + HVAC + Facility management + Vendor management + Project management + Effective written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint + 5+ years of experience with building and facility systems **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and other building systems + Organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail **Why Work Here?** We offer generous benefits, competitive salaries, and opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. Additional on-site attendance may be required to support operational or safety needs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Des Plaines, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
