Job Title: Assistant Facilities Manager

Job Description

As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will provide operational support to manage daily facilities operations across multiple sites. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including oversight of front desk services, janitorial tasks, amenities, parking, shipping and receiving, and general maintenance. You will collaborate closely with external service providers to ensure consistent quality and timely response to issues. Additionally, you will assist in office renovations, relocations, and space planning projects alongside managers and contractors.

ResponsibilitiesManage daily facilities operations across multiple sites, including front desk, janitorial, amenities, parking, shipping & receiving, and general maintenance.Coordinate with external service providers to ensure quality and timely responses.Support office renovations, relocations, and space planning projects.Assist in tracking budgets, contracts, and purchase orders.Prepare basic financial and operational reports.Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics including seating assignments, building access, and safety orientations.Identify maintenance needs and support preventative safety programs.Ensure space readiness across offices.Act as a liaison for building management and internal teams regarding facility updates and space usage.Direct and maintain high-standard client interactions, especially with senior clients.Essential Skills3–5 years of experience in facilities, property management, workplace operations, or related field.Knowledge of customer service, facilities maintenance, HVAC, facility management, and vendor management.Experience with facilities coordination and vendor knowledge regarding buildings.Utilization and knowledge of CMMS.Familiarity with budgeting, procurement, and vendor relationships.Working knowledge of building systems like HVAC and electrical.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong organizational and project coordination skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.Certifications like FMA or CFM are a bonus.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.56/hr.
