We are recruiting for a **Facilities Coordinator** **Purpose of the job** We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to support the daily operations of our office and laboratory spaces. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in facilities coordination who is looking to grow their experience in a technical, lab environment. Experience working in laboratory spaces is highly desirable but not required. **Responsibilities and daily activities:** · **General Facilities Support** o Respond to facilities-related issues and service requests across office and lab areas. o Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and vendor access for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.). o Maintain clean, functional, and safe shared spaces such as meeting rooms, break areas, and storage rooms. · **Lab Support** o Assist with basic support in laboratory areas, such as equipment coordination, vendor visits, and infrastructure upkeep. o Work closely with lab staff to understand needs related to layout, logistics, and facilities requests. o Safety & Compliance o Support building safety procedures, emergency response planning, and routine inspections. o Assist with documentation related to compliance, maintenance records, and safety audits. · **Logistics & Inventory** o Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, including coordination of lab consumables and facility supplies. o Track and maintain key facility assets and coordinate small-scale moves or reconfigurations. **Personal Experience and Qualifications needed** Required: · 1–3 years of experience in a facilities, office management, or operations coordination role. · Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask and respond quickly to shifting needs. · Comfortable working in a technical or scientific environment, with a hands-on approach.
