Job Title: Facilities Coordinator 1Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This is a temp-to-perm position, transitioning to a permanent role after 90 days. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, or as agreed upon with the site lead. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive facility management services, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

ResponsibilitiesProvide general overall facility management services, including continuous monitoring of the facility.Work collaboratively with property managers to handle routine property management operations such as procurement of supplies and services, and coordinating vehicle and equipment logistics.Assist the Facility Management Team with tactical planning to achieve team goals and objectives.Provide specific assistance to the project management team as needed.Manage and maintain small facility management tasks as assigned.Coordinate special events in support of client requirements.Provide support for meetings and conference room reservations as needed.Assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities.Act as an interface with client visitors and guests, ensuring excellent follow-up and service.Provide direction and information to vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work with minimal disruption.Essential SkillsA minimum of 2 years’ experience in Facility or Property Administration.GED or High school diploma.Superior customer service skills and orientation.Proficiency in Excel Spreadsheets with the capability to customize administrative reports.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to plan and manage work under time constraints.Ability to multitask and work independently without direct supervision.Proficiency in MS Office, including strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and a collaborative working style.Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and requires continuous monitoring of the office/facility. You will work closely with property managers, vendors, and service providers, ensuring minimal disruption to the client environment. The role involves coordinating special events and providing support for meetings and conference room reservations, requiring a professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Walkersville, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
