Facilities Consultant (Onsite)
**About the Role:** As a CBRE Facilities Consultant, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects for our healthcare campuses in the West Region (Fort Worth, Irving, and Grapevine). This onsite role requires extensive client interaction and hands-on project management to ensure the optimal functioning and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. As well as managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and exceptional client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facility or project management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within budget. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. **What You’ll Do:** + Manage a wide range of facilities projects across a portfolio of healthcare campuses, including hospitals and select clinics, ensuring successful completion from initiation to close-out. + Conduct regular onsite visits and travel to facilities within the designated portfolio to oversee project progress and address emergent needs. + Coordinate services for all business units, large departments, or work groups. + Oversee and execute various facilities enhancement projects, including but not limited to landscaping improvements, facility remodeling (refreshments), concrete refurbishment, and HVAC optimization initiatives. + Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring financial targets are met and reporting on variances. + Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and fostering strong working relationships. This role involves extensive client-facing responsibilities. + Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting timelines, risks, and budget status. + Source, evaluate, and manage external vendors, including obtaining competitive quotes, negotiating contracts, and overseeing performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. + Review and approve vendor contracts and specify terms of agreements. + Confirm company and client records are managed according to policies, procedures, and legal requirements. + Facilitate and secure necessary client approvals for project scopes, budgets, and designs to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. + Provide critical support for facility shutdowns and relocations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and a smooth transition. + Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. + Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. + Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. + Work within broad guidelines and policies. + Explain difficult or sensitive information. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Ability to travel regularly to various sites within the Fort Worth, Irving, and Grapevine areas. + Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from planning to execution. + Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development and expense management. + Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with extensive experience in client interaction. + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Sophisticated math skills. Massachusetts Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Maintenance Technician position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Technician position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
