**Job Title: Facilities Call Center Specialist** **Job Description**
Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Supervisor or the appointed shift commander, this role is responsible for dispatching Facilities Personnel to both emergency and non-emergency service calls. The specialist answers incoming phone calls, operates a computer dispatch system, monitors the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS), and inputs incident reports as necessary.
**Responsibilities**
+ Answer all telephone calls promptly and courteously, triaging and prioritizing them to dispatch calls in an appropriate order.
+ Monitor radio traffic during potentially dangerous situations, dispatching additional personnel as needed.
+ Maintain current status of personnel in the field and enforce proper radio control and courtesy.
+ Monitor the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) to dispatch personnel appropriately.
+ Question emergency callers to gather complete and accurate information for emergency response.
+ Enter all relevant information into the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS), maintaining accurate work orders and log notes.
+ Ensure a thorough work process, completing each step in critical processes.
+ Determine the appropriate department to respond, such as facilities or security.
+ Use automated software programs like Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare daily and weekly reports.
+ Brief incoming personnel on new or ongoing information relevant to the shift.
+ Review workflow processing to ensure all operations are executed professionally and timely.
+ Liaise with line supervisors and other entities as necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Four to six years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
+ Adaptability to change and ambiguity.
+ Ability to generate ideas and coordinate administrative solutions.
+ Observation and recall of names, places, and incidents.
+ Planning, organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines independently.
+ Calm, tactful, and courteous communication.
+ Problem-solving and solution identification.

+ Proficiency in executing caller interrogation to determine the problem.
+ Ability to relay and document essential situational information accurately.
+ Knowledge of computer systems and software used in the functional area.
+ Understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
+ Knowledge of police/law enforcement procedures and techniques.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ CADL - California Drivers License - Valid And In State.
+ Experience in customer service, call center operations, facilities maintenance, and emergency response.
+ Knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, and HVAC.

**Work Environment**
Work under the supervision of the Facilities Call Center Supervisor. The position is located in Menlo Park, CA, with a shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Wednesday through Sunday, including a 30-minute lunch break. The environment involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and adheres to all safety and operational protocols.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Menlo Park, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.13 - $25.37/hr.
