The Campus Facilities & Workplace Operations Manager is responsible for facilities operations and workplace services at the Sprouts Farmers Market Support Office. This role plans, establishes goals and objectives by overseeing building maintenance, systems, and equipment, manages front-of-house functions including fitness center, and event spaces, and delivers a reliable, high-quality workplace experience for team members and guests. The role partners cross-functionally to ensure safety, compliance, and long-term facility performance, leads StoreCare teams, manages operating and capital budgets, and serves as the primary contact for facility incidents and emergency response.
Overview of Responsibilities
Lead all facilities operations for the Sprouts Corporate Campus, including buildings, out-parcels, parking garage, fitness center, and common areas, ensuring uninterrupted operations.Make rapid, high-impact decisions under pressure to mitigate disruptions, control costs, and maintain a positive support office experience.Oversee all hard services and building systems (HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, elevators, plumbing, fire/life safety, roofing, , landscaping, waste, and specialized equipment).Oversee soft services, including janitorial programs, plant care, event spaces, breakroom amenities, wellness rooms, and workplace services.Manage and communicate with relationships with vendor and contracts, including IFM partners, ensuring SLA, KPI, and quality compliance; lead MBRs, QBRs, and ABRs in partnership with Procurement.Plan, execute, and oversee maintenance, repair, and capital projects end-to-end, including scope, quality control, scheduling, and invoice reconciliation.Manage R&M and workplace OPEX/CAPEX budgets, including forecasting, cost controls, quote reviews, change orders, and invoice validation.Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance with lease terms, warranties, and all applicable local and state regulations.Partner cross-functionally communicating with Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, Compliance, Business Protection, and Loss Prevention to resolve complex facility and safety issues.Analyze facility data and conditions to drive timely, cost-effective solutions that minimize disruption to employees and guests.Drive operational excellence through explanation of standardized SOPs, RACI development, preventative maintenance programs, and continuous process improvement.Manage space planning and workplace requests, including office assignments, moves, furniture and equipment (FFE), ADA, and ergonomic needs.Cultivate a proactive, service-oriented culture that emphasizes accountability, empathy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.Provide 24/7 on-call support for urgent and unforeseen facility issues.
Qualifications
8–10 years of facilities or maintenance management experience supporting corporate office environments; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resolve complex facility issues under pressure using sound judgment.Hands-on experience with facilities work order management systems and strong project management capabilities.Deep technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automation, and controls.Demonstrated success managing large operating and capital budgets ($10M–$20M).Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Professional certifications (IFMA, BOMI, PMP, CFM) and grocery or retail facilities experience preferred.
